New Amerykah part 2: Return of the Ankh

I just bough Erykah Badu's new album that came out today, and of course I bought it from a local record store (Gray Whale) because everyone should SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RECORD STORE!!!!

Erykah Badu & Incubus are the only artists in which I'll actually go out and buy their album. They're my favorites. I've been waiting for this album and I'm excited! My album review will be up in a few days.

So my friend Jason was able to come and visit me for a couple of days here in Naga/Legazpi. The other night, the family wanted Jason to perform for them. Jason said he wouldn't do it unless I did a song with him. After some argument, I finally gave in. I had never tried to sing/rap in front of a group of people and although they were my family, I was still nervous. I am not a singer nor a rapper. Luckily no one else in the room knew the song and probably didn't understand what we were singing/rapping because I did mess up a little.
